REPORT ON INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION in PM SHRI KV Andal-2026
PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Andal celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm on 15th August 2026 on the Vidyalaya premises.
The programme commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest and dignitaries, followed by the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal. The National Anthem was sung with pride and solemnity by all present.
The Principal addressed the gathering and extended warm greetings on the occasion of Independence Day. In his address, he highlighted the importance of freedom, national unity, constitutional values, civic duties, and the role of students in nation-building.
The students presented a colourful and inspiring cultural programme reflecting the spirit of patriotism and the rich cultural heritage of India. The programme included patriotic songs, speeches, poems, dances, and other cultural presentations. The performances filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm.
Students also participated actively in various activities organised as part of the Independence Day celebration. Their presentations reflected the values of unity, discipline, responsibility, patriotism, and respect for the nation.
The celebration provided an opportunity for students to understand the significance of Independence Day and appreciate the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters for the country’s independence. The programme also encouraged students to become responsible and committed citizens of the nation.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks. The celebration was conducted successfully with the active participation and cooperation of the Principal, teachers, staff members, and students of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Andal.
